Monsoon is a design driven clothing retailer headquartered in London, primarily operating two international clothing retail chains, Monsoon and Accessories. Founded in 1973, folk style clothing handmade by Peter Simon was brought to London for a world tour and a street stall was set up on Portobello Road. The first Monsoon store was located in the square of Bitcham, and Monsoon. com was launched in 1999. At present, there are over 380 Monsoon and Accessories stores in the UK and around the world.
