Magee 1866, a British clothing brand, was founded in the Donegal region of Ireland in 1866. The local area is rich in coarse woolen, which is known as Donegal coarse woolen. It is entirely made from local materials, with wool sourced from local sheep and dyes containing pigments from local plants such as blackberries, canaries, and moss. Therefore, the fabrics produced are extremely warm and durable, with the biggest feature being the bright and beautiful colored spots in the fabric. The main material of Magee 1866 clothing is Donegal tweed.
