The idea for BitCasa was proposed by Tony Gauda, CEO and co-founder of BitCasa in 2011. Tony, the mastercard fraud protection system he previously designed, collaborated with co-founder Kevin Blackum, a veteran of cloud storage who created bitcasa on Mozy.
