Dress Barn is a women's clothing retailer. In 1962, Roslyn Jaffe, a mother of three, opened her first Dress Barn clothing store in Stamford, Connecticut. In that era, women rarely appeared in the workplace, and Roslyn not only dared to work, but also ushered in a new era of women's fashion.
